We Will All Laugh At Gilded Butterflies

I feel guilty that I have not been on here in MONTHS, and I have been contemplating getting rid of tumblr, or starting a new tumblr. But since I have been gone so much has happened! I started the most amazing career in July that I am so happy with. Life could not be better. Plus my goal is to start my Masters in Fall 2013! 

While things have been looking up there of course will always be the ups and downs. On 10/20 I had to put my 7 month kitten down, and it was truly the hardest thing I have experienced since 2004. I remember hearing my friends upset when they lost a pet and I never understood why until I was in those shoes for the first time. It was one of the hardest experiences, but it truly made my fiancé and I so much closer. We both knew that we were happy that we had each other in that moment. We have 3 cats and we raised all of them, but the Kitten Thor, we began to raise in May together when I moved into the place we bought after I graduated. : / 

For my fiancés birthday I did adopt a new kitten, her name is Kameko (which means turtle child) as her color is called tortuous shell. She is the wildest little kitten ever! :) 

Also I can successfully say that Paleo has changed my life since August 2nd. I have lost almost all of the weight I gained from college, just 5 pounds away from where I was in high school, and 10 pounds from my ideal weight. I am so happy and thankful for Crossfit and Paleo! 

Be good to others, and they will be good to you. That means be patient, kind, loving, gentle, and always willing to listen.

Sometimes I wish I could turn back time. Although, I do believe everything happens for a reason. I do believe that love or life or work or school should never be easy because then there is no point fighting for it, or having determination.

I will say that two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less traveled by and that has made all the difference :)

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth, so that you don’t look back in 20 years and recall in a way you can’t grasp now, and how many possibilities that laid before you.
